Patreon Tier Rewards: Full Details (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

This post is now the definitive explanation on perk details for the GB Patch Games Patreon. There's been quite a few updates over the past months and things have finally settled enough to lay out all the info.

If you're mainly curious on how you get the OL1 Patreon Bonus Moments, you can read the Tier 2 and Tier 3 sections only!

Tier 1. Supporters - $1USD Per Month

Reward 1: Sneak peeks & Behind-the-scenes info

I frequently make posts on the Patreon. You can count on it nearly every day at 2pm US Mountain Time. Just about everything from the development process is shared here, and all of it gets releveled ahead of any publicly available posts. Screenshots, gameplay video clips, art progress samples, completed art pieces, cut/unused content, design sketches, eventually they'll be previews for voice acting, and etc.

Reward 2: Patreon-only Q&As

Between the 3rd and 19th of the month, supporters are allowed to submit questions to me, the lead developer/writer/company owner. You can ask about our games, characters, or the business. Questions are answered in an audio recording at the end of the month (with a text transcript available).

Reward 3: Access to the private GB Patch Discord

There's a normal GB Patch server, but the private discord is a space to talk about all those special previews that aren't publicly revealed right away- if ever. And if you stop being an active subscriber on the Patreon, you're welcome to remain in the Discord so you can always remain in the loop!

Tier 2. Fans- $5USD Per Month

Reward 1: One of the Patreon Bonus Moments

There are two 18+ OL1 Bonus Moments available on the Patreon. At this tier you get one of them. This is the only rotating reward: the story you get will depend on what time of year you're supporting on the Fans Tier.

If the month is January, March, May, July, September, or November, your reward will be the Step 3 +18 Bonus Moment. That is a story about Cove and the MC taking their first steps into having a sexually intimate relationship.

If the month is February, April, June, August, October, or December, your reward will be the Step 4 Bonus Moment. The story is set on Cove's and the MC's wedding night. It has the set up that they've had sexual experiences before and what happens on their wedding night isn't something they need to work up to.

Reward 2: The Floret Bond Incomplete Game Build

Floret Bond is a visual novel project that was cancelled. If you're interested in checking out old GB Patch Games history, you can do so by playing the beta build that we put together years ago.

Reward 3: Vote for a new Discord emote

Once every month there's a poll to add a new emote to the private discord. At this tier you'll get to cast your vote on what it should be.

Reward 4: View 18+ Posts on Pateon and gain access to adult channels in the Discord server

This is mainly useful for the Discord perk at this point. Before it gave you access to 18+ Bonus Moment previews, but now those are both released. There's no preview left. But you'll still be able to talk in the adult areas of the server.

If you stop being an active Patreon subscriber, you're welcome to remain in the Discord! Though, you will lose your adult-access perk.

Tier 3. Insiders- $10USD Per Month

Reward 1: Both of the Patreon Bonus Moments

This disregards the rotation system of the lower tier. If you're on Tier 3, or higher, you'll get access to the Step 3 and Step 4 Bonus Moments at the same time.

Reward 2: The Our Life: Now & Forever Beta Build

The beta build for OL:N&F. lets you play content that isn't in the public demo. Every month it's updated to have even more scenes to play!

Reward 3: All other polls

You'll not only get to vote for the monthly Discord emote, you'll be able to participate in any poll that happens on the Patreon. Each month there is a guaranteed poll to decide what the monthly guest art piece should be. And occasionally there are miscellaneous polls where I ask the community about Patreon related things or even game content stuff.

Tier 4. Players- $15USD Per Month

Reward 1: The XOXO Blood Droplets Incomplete Game Build

Similar to Floret Bond from Tier 2, XOXO Blood Droplets is an older GB Patch Games project. However, XOBD did get partially released to the public. It included three storylines. The beta available on Patreon has those three stories and three more that were never officially launched. Those extra stories might get a proper release someday, but the project isn't currently in development.

Tier 5. Influencers - $20USD Per Month

Reward 1: Our Life: Now & Forever suggestion thread access

Whenever there's a monthly update to the OL: N&F beta, a suggestion thread comes along with it. People supporting on Tier 5 are able to post ideas for MC choices/reactions that could be added to the game! Suggestions can also be mentioned in a special channel of the Discord.

If you stop being an active Patreon subscriber, you're welcome to remain in the Discord! Though, you will lose your suggestion-thread-access perk.

Reward 2: A bonus gift!

At the beginning of each month, a post will go up on the Patreon where Influencers are given a random bonus gift of my choosing. It's the same for all supporters. Bonus gifts can be soundtracks, artbooks, CG Packs, wallpapers, digital postcards, and more. It all comes from already released projects: Our Life: Beginnings & Always, XOXO Droplets, XOXO Blood Droplets, Lake of Voices, and A Foretold Affair.
