Month End Post: April 2022 (Patreon)

We've made it to the end of another month! I hope it was a good one for people. The most exciting thing to happen in April for GB Patch was the launch of the limited edition Cove Holden plushie campaign. It just started a couple days ago so there's still time get one for yourself, if you'd like.

And if you have gotten yourself your own little Cove, thank you! We never would've had the chance to make this kind of merch if it wasn't for everyone's support 🥰️. 

Now let's get into what got done!

Monthly Content Summary:

I'm very pleased with how the development went this month. We finished all the major things I'd hoped we would! Two Derek Moments were completely scripted, one by me and one partially by me and the other writer on the team, I drafted a new Moment and that's been sent to writers to begin work on already, one of the finished Moments was programmed and released as a new Derek DLC beta, and we managed to get a little more work done on the OL2 prologue by programming/testing a couple new scenes (although it wasn't enough to release a new beta build for that yet).

In total I got:

32,275 words written (plus more was finished thanks to other writers)

16,050 words drafted

30,500 words programmed 

There was also miscellaneous progress; formatting and implementing new assets, a little bug fixing patch was released for the main story of Our Life: Beginnings & Always right at the start of the month, etc. I really couldn't have asked for more, which is rare 'cause I usually always prefer to have gotten more done, haha.
