Our Life 2: Sprite Style Test 1 (Patreon)

We went ahead and got the first potential character art style test for Our Life: Now & Forever!  The two LIs of Our Life haven't been designed yet, so we used baby boy Cove as the model.  

There will probably be a few of these done and the final style may be different from all the tests, so whether you love it or hate, it we'll have to try not getting too used to this look yet, haha. But we wanted to share it with you 'cause it's pretty neat. Feel free to let us know what you think!

I just want to say, I really like the greenish background. Maybe it’s not as colorful as the other one, but it has a nice and peaceful atmosphere. And as you mentioned before, it makes the sprite really stand out!

I'm happy you like that one! It is nice when you don't have to fight against the BG for the sprite's attention, but I can understand why people like really detailed BGs.

I really like this art style! though personally, I feel the simpler art style you had in the beta/demo fit the vibe of the game a bit more. But I'm fine with either, honestly, both are fantastic art styles!

This is just a test for what we might do with games in the future. We only used Cove as the character being featured for fun, since everybody likes Cove :].

I just subbed to this patreon, and man, he looks so gorgeous in this artstyle! Hope, he will be available as side love interest in OL2, haha
