Our Life 2: Special Promo Poll (Ages) (Patreon)

Hello! Today's special promo poll question is the start of a new topic. The style, location, and aspects like that are done! From now on we're gonna be talking about more gameplay/system related things. The first question in that vein is-

How long should the transitions between Steps be and what ages should the characters be at the start of the game?  

The OG arrangement was 8, 13, 18, 23, which is something of a middle ground. The gang starts very young then ages five years for every time period jump.

We could start the characters off as older and make the gaps a little smaller (e.g. 12, 15, 18, 21). Jumping three years ahead instead of five would mean less content of their lives was skipped. Maybe having five years pass by with each Step is making players feel like they’ve missed out on a lot of the characters’ development. On the other hand, we could make the skips even bigger (e.g. 9, 16, 23, 30). This might be nice for those who prefer not to spend too much time being really young and/or like being with LIs who are a bit older.

Rather than voting for specific age sets, we're gonna vote on a scale of 1 to 5- with 1 meaning you really want them to be younger, 3 meaning you want it to stay the same, 5 meaning you really want them to be older, and 2/4 meaning that you're leaning towards younger/older but aren't that committed or that you'd be happy to have it stay the same or change to be younger/older.
