Our Life Beta: 0.29 (Patreon)

We've got an update for the Our Life beta! It has various improvements and a new event.

What's New:

• Animation Effects have been added (characters blink, the sun shines, there are dust particles in rooms, a flower transition, and there are fireflies in special night scenes)
• The "And Then Summer Ended"  button on the Moment Select screen now works and brings you to the last event of Step 1
• The gameplay explanation interludes have been added
• There's been a few minor error fixes, small script alterations, and little visual improvements to the sprites

Known Issues: 

• The Library Event is still missing the final scene. It's been written and proofread, just not programmed
• There is an option to turn off the animation effects on the Config Screen, but the buttons don't work yet. In later builds you will be able to turn the animations off 
• The images don't unlock in the CG Gallery and until they do the button to open the gallery is unclickable 
• The tutorial mentions that the demo goes to the start of Step 2, but the actual Step 2 scene hasn't been added yet. That'll come later. The bonus CG image needs to be finished first
• Save files from the previous betas won't work with this new version

As a little tip, you don't have to do any of the Moments again to watch the new scene. As soon as the prologue is over you can ignore the Moments and just choose to have summer end right away.

We'll be releasing one more update to the demo and then it ill be considered complete. The last parts to add will be making those buttons work and adding the Step 2 scene/CG. I think it's quite exciting how things have come together.
