Month Beginning Post: July 2024 Plans (Patreon)

Hi everybody!

It's a new month. My progress counters are back to zero and there's all the time in the world to meet my goals.

If you're wondering what was completed in June you can see that HERE. And now I'll tell you what those goals actually are.

Monthly Content Plans:

I will be finishing the script for the "Fall Ended" section of Step 1! The entire childhood period, at least for what I can do, will exist in full. A whole OL2 Step is nearly in existence 🤩🤩🤩

And right after that I'll be making crucial edits to earlier scenes based on what the sensitivity/authenticity readers have brought up. The readings are starting with the prologue, then the base story Moments, then the DLC Moments, and finally the "Fall Ended" section. It'll be a fairly long process, so Step 1 isn't gonna be truly finalized until the end of the year.

However, I imagine I'll still have space this month to brainstorm the prologue of Step 2. That's very exciting. I don't know if I'll get any true drafting done, since there's a lot to plan, and I wouldn't want to jump in without a full view of it. We'll see.

Of course, Slumber Party Part 2 is gonna become available for beta testers. That'll bring the programmed Moment count to six! Ideally, we'll also start programming work on August's beta script as well.

In other build news, the public demo is going to get a small bug fixing update. No new scenes or MC doll options will be in it. There were just some issues we needed to make right.

I also want to mention that I'll be taking a semi-break in the middle of the month to have fun with friends! I'll still be posting during that time and will get some work done, it just won't be as much as usual. It's gonna last for less than a week.

And finally, I've still gotta launch the Our Life: Beginnings & Always art book on Itch and Steam.

Honestly, my main goal for the month is to get a hold of my schedule again and stop feeling like I'm behind/losing track of stuff. I hope by the end of July I won't feel as scattered as I do now. Though, it's hard to imagine that with how much I want to get done, haha. I'll do my best.

Okay, so that's the news. Big things are happening, OL2 is truly coming along. I can't believe how close we are to Step 2 being the main section in-progress!
