Not long ago I contacted the incredibly talented Kevin Glint (https://www.deviantart.com/kevin-glint) about producing a piece of art for Chrysalis and eventually I decided on asking him to draw a new cover for us.

It was a little bit of an odd process, his original sketch was badass and made Anthony look super cool! Only problem is that Anthony isn't cool, he's a bit goofy and silly and I wanted the cover to reflect that, so we had him emerging from his cocoon, punching the air in triumph with one leg, as a way to bring his humanity and attitude into the image.

This will be the eventual cover for Volume 1 when I get it published ... at some point in the future. What do you think?

I've already asked Kevin to draw some more for Chrysalis, including images of Tiny and Crinis which will hopefully see next month. This is the money you've given me through Patreon at work folks and I'm super grateful for it!

Goofiest ant I’ve ever seen (in the best way)

Random Information

Not sure - it doesn't work for me yet. For one, it doesn't mesh with the story as Anthony's cocoon is never mentioned. Perhaps if you changed the first chapter to fit, it would work? Also it would be nice to get a sense of size - he's big for an Earth ant but small (initially) compared to his enemies.

The thing is Anthony is cool when he needs to be. But he his a bit goofy and silly at the same time. But he is still a bad ass LOOKING ant. So to some how incorporate all those things would be the ultimate.

I like it, i do kinda wanna see how eventual images will be with at least one cool looking battle scene done like how japanese novels do spreadsheet novel art pieces with character thoughts so it still has some goofyness with a short mental line from Anthony while looking amazing since battles are a main feature of the story.

I absolutely love it!

First and thought it was some Anthony raising his hand in command but then when I read that it was a fist bump I just felt that it did reflect Anthony way better.
