This episode is always wild but first and foremost I want to thank you for using the word "penultimate" correctly in your intro. It drives me crazy how many people hear the word, think they understand it, then use it incorrectly. Huge pet peeve of mine and I appreciate your appropriate use of it. Just a few thoughts/observations below (nothing to comment on the cliffhanger ending except OMG)... Mike being correctly identified by Nacho as "the guy who won't pull the trigger" contrasts with both the Mike we see in Breaking Bad but also the real consequences of Mike's past actions, which we learn later in the same scene. He didn't pull the trigger to kill the drug mule, but as a result an innocent (even MORE innocent than the mule) person was killed. There's no two ways to look at it- Mike has blood on his hands and he knows it. Kim shutting down any conversation with Jimmy regarding the scam on Chuck "not now, not ever" recalls the conversation in Season 1, when they are eating pie after Jimmy reveals to Kim that he used falsified evidence to get a client off. Kim told him she can "never hear about this kind of thing" and Jimmy promises her she won't. And yet, Kim plays dumb and defends Jimmy against Chuck when confronted with what he did and strongly, though subtly, encourages him to verify all evidence is absent, knowing Chuck's diligence as a foe. Kim's dilemma is intriguing- She wants to avoid complicity in Jimmy's schemes but she is also completely loyal to him. Her struggle to navigate their relationship and its ethical implications is so expertly written in this show and grows much more entangled as the show progresses. Can't wait to watch along with you all through the season finale and then the next season! Seems like you guys don't even need reminders to watch the intro sequence anymore, you're humming along to the tune and everything, but I might still remind you periodically ;)

I don't care what anyone say, Better Call Saul is on the same level of Breaking Bad. BCS gets better with every season.
