I actually really love this episode. First off, I enjoy a Toshiko centric episode, getting to explore her more. She's the most honest character in the show, but she's also quite socially awkward. I feel that for this to be the 4th time they've met each other, it's exactly the right time for these feeling to come to the surface. I'm sure the first time, there probably was little to no personal connection, but probably some kind of spark. I think this is likely only their second "date." It definitely seemed like it's not the first time they've left the base, but Tommy was so eager to explore that I get the feeling he hasn't been able to leave much in the past. He has clearly asked Tosh before if she had a boyfriend, because he asks her if she's *still* single, but again that could have been the last time they saw each other that he asked, and Tosh being socially awkward maybe didn't have the courage to ask if he had a girlfriend. I think we've gotten so used to Owen, Gwen, and Jack throwing their sexuality around, sleeping with anyone and everyone, and even have Ianto getting in on that now, that it makes it seem unreal that Tosh could have so little confidence sexually. We have seen her in a sexual way before, but she was manipulated by an alien so that doesn't count to me. I did notice a parallel between this and the Christmas Carol doctor who episode with Abigail being defrosted once a year and going on adventures, only to find out she has one day to live, and she uses that day to save the 3000 people about to die. Although we might not agree on this episode, that's what makes your reaction channel so great. You are completely honest, and don't just pander to the viewers. I'd much rather hear your real opinions, so thank you guys for that. Looking forward to the next one.
