I hadn’t watched this show since my hard drive crashed a couple years ago. So I didn’t realize all of my favorite eps weren’t even in the first season. So yea, the show is definitely gonna be hittin it’s stride this season. I agree with y’all about Alex. She’s probably consistently the weakest but she does get some funny stuff here and there. When Brad, Jane, penny and max are always top tier. It’s hard to really show out.

I both agree and disagree with the comments about Alex. She doesn't get the big, funny storylines, she mostly has storylines about her and Dave's relationship, which kind of narrows what they can do with her and I can see why people don't think she's the funniest character. But I think it causes her to be a bit underappreciated, before I saw her in this, I really didn't know if she could be funny, I knew her from 24 and Are You Afraid of the Dark?, not really funny things. But honestly she has some, I think pretty funny moments and lines in the show, like the hula dance in this episode or the rib eating when she gets drunk stuff in season 1, but it was easy to overlook because the story was actually about Penny speaking different languages when she's drunk, there was also a good line in the episode when Penny was dating the guy named Hitler, but that story was about Penny, dating a guy with that name, so again easy to overlook, she also had a moment when she was trying to hammer a nail into brick and was told you can't, she said I know that, then moved to the glass window to hammer it in there. There are more examples but I don't want to make this comment to long, it's probably already getting there. She usually only gets a moment or two in an episode and not a whole crazy storyline, like other characters get. Which can make it easy to overlook her, leading to her being a little underappreciated. Anyway, end of rant, that I didn't really plan on turning into one, great reaction, I'm glad you both enjoyed the episode, I look forward to the next one.
