I knew you guys would love the sound! The score and the special effects are some of my favorite things in this iteration. I also really liked that they told Aang’s backstory in this first episode- I think it helps newbies understand the weight of being the Avatar earlier in the series than the animated does. I do miss some of the iconic fun moments that are missing from the 1st episode, but I think this is something that’s left out a lot when adapting a “children’s story” for wider audiences. And I agree that Iroh is the character that seems the most off from the original, but he’s my all-time favorite, so I’m maybe more nitpick-y about him. Excited to rewatch this with the Cousins! Thanks!

I agree Ali! Score and special effects are amazing. I thought I was the only one who thought Iroh was kinda off; however, it does not take away from his amazing character and emotional scenes later down the series. I can’t wait to continue to rewatch with the primos!
