Great video, even though Emily didn't like the episode it's one of my favorites. Now, we don't know 100% what was on the disc which he threw away. He might have made a copy and threw the original disc away, or maybe he really threw the original away, meaning he just needed Scully to retrieve it in order to destroy it. As far as the chips are concerned, we know that they can cure at least some types of cancer, as we've seen with Scully and also the boy in this episode. Regarding everything else though he said... science to cure all human disease, just doesn't seem like it at this point. He used Scully to get to Cobra and get the disc, all as an elaborate plan. What was really on the disc he threw away, we don't know, but Shelley was right that he switched it and gave Scully just an empty disc he had prepared. He's just a vile, despicable person really. As for myself I really like this episode. The title is also interesting. "En Ami" translates to "As a friend", but if you pronounce it, it's similar to "Enemy", so double meaning, obviously referring to CSM acting as Scully's friend but he's really an enemy. The guy in the trenchcoat was a bad guy in previous mytharc episodes, just another one of CSM's goons. He is known among mytharc fans as the "Black Haired Man". He was in "The End" and also "Fight the Future". I really like this episode, but I understand that it's a matter of taste. BTW, this episode was actually written by William B. Davis, the actor who plays CSM.

Nice catch with the black haired man. Always thought he looks familiar, but didn't make the connection with The End and Fight the future. Interesting how the CSM still got his own minions, even after the syndicate has been fried.

Apparently, there was supposed to be a scene in this episode where Cancer Man gives Scully a waterskiing lesson. Yes. Amidst this already very awkward episode full of awkward interactions between them, I still struggle to even imagine how that would have gone down. Is it a shame or a blessing it was cut out? We'll never know.
