Finally I am able to re sub and comment, it's been so tough. I forget to mention last episode that the fandom raised over 100,000 dollars to the trevor project ( an LGBTQ+ youth charity organizations) in honor of CAS's love declaration and Misha saw it and was very touched, pretty cool, right! Now on to this episode: I knew we were fucked when I learned that buckleming were writing the season finale and dabb was writing the series finale, this episode is fast paced and lots of things don't make sense as usual for buckleming episodes, why are they giving Sam the book to try to translate enochian when Michael is literally right there, he can read enochian! Why did dean demanded chuck to bring back cas but didn't even ask jack??? Chuck was able to get lucifer out of the empty so clearly god does have control over the empty and can get angels and demons out so why on earth wouldn't dean at least ask jack?!! How dare they cas fake us out with lucifer of all characters ugh, the only upside to that mean move is that lucifer only comes to people as their dead significant other when he's trying to make them let him in, he came to Nick as Sara (his wife) in 5x01, he came to Sam as Jessica in 5x04, he came to Vince Vincente as his dead wife and now for dean he pretended to be cas to let him in, a beautiful parallel but is it worth the pain? You decide. And of course CAS dies and dean is immediately drowning himself in alcohol blacking out on the floor sleeping on an empty bottle, I am gonna die. The only moment I love from this episode is when chuck said to dean "to die at the hands of dean Winchester, the ultimate killer" dean responded with "that's not who I am" coz that's CAS's words!!!! They really got through to him and now he doesn't think of himself as a killer anymore coz CAS told him that that's not who he is, he's a loving person 🥺😭 still I would've preferred them killing chuck, even if he's just human he has so much knowledge that he can cause lots of damage, he can do spells, he knows secrets about the universe we don't know. I too don't like that jack appearantly needs to fuck off now that he's god, I want him to be with his family.

Holy bad whiplash, Buck! Nothing made sense, changes direction to the point of being boring on top of already being BORING and capping it off with a Cas/Lucifer fake out was a spit in the face. Miracle the dog was the best part of this episode! Especially after those epic 'battle' scenes.
