Ahoy pirates! (Patreon)
Content
Just a quick post to address something that's been going on lately here on Patreon. Someone here has been reposting all our latest pictures on Rule 34 and other pirate sites. As we've said before, pirating our stuff is a really stupid choice since we eventually publish all our works for free on Twitter, Newgrounds and Hentai Foundry. We believe everyone should enjoy our content even if they can't allow to pay for it.
Patreon is just our way to survive, to keep creating content thanks to your support, and in exchange we give you exclusive early access to our work and commission discounts.
This the only way we can keep creating comics and pin-ups for everyone to enjoy.
Now if you (and now I'm talking to the fella or fellas that have reposted our recent work on Rule 34 etc) think you're doing someone's a favor by reposting our images online, let me tell you that you are SOOOOOO wrong.
First of all, by reposting our pics on pirate sites you are not ONLY making us lose money but you are making someone else (that's not us OR YOU for that matter) earn A LOT of money out of our work. Pirate sites earn an incredible amount of dough just outta visits even if they offer the content "for free". So, believe me, you are not helping anyone here but someone who owns a pirate site and who doesn't give a fuck about you, us or anyone else so... yeah, that's a pretty stupid move.
Again, we will eventually post ALL our works for FREE on our social media, and reposting them during their exclusivity period it's only a way to kill our work. To kill our characters, our stories... everything.
It's funny, some of the comments on those pics that you reposted on Rule 34 are like "I love this artist, can't wait to see more of this comic/character..."
Well, my friend, if there're more comics and more characters and MORE ART is because 99% of our patrons are not like you and they understand that reposting our work means less patrons, meaning less support, meaning less content, meaning the death of Cherry Mouse Street.
So to all of you who support us every month and don't repost our work: THAN YOU! You are the ones that make all this possible. And as a personal favor: If you see any of our work reposted online, please report it.
To the pirate/s: Just... stop doing stupid things.
