Queen of Egypt Image set WIP and Patreon Rewards Plan (Patreon)

Ok, so I pretty much have everything ready for that Egyptian-themed image set I mentioned in the last post. Starting with the character models, I made this sorta “queen” character which is going to be the star of the set.

Because this model isn’t meant to be released, I used a lot of Daz textures and outfits when making the character. Ironically (I guess) the Daz outfits were generally lower quality than the game assets I use, but through enough shader editing, I was able to make them look alright. The rigging on the outfits was also crap, so I also had to redo the weights from scratch.

To accompany the queen, I also set up some guards for her. There will be two guards, but they'll share the same model.

As you can tell, they’re gonna do a bit more than guarding. Making it was the same deal as the other model. The rigging and textures were shit, so I had to fix them.

I also made a new environment for this image set. I built it with Assassin's Creed Origins assets and some custom meshes. Most of the maps I’ve done before have been recreations of environments from games, so it was fun making something completely new this time around. The architecture probably isn’t historically accurate, but I don’t really care, as long as it looks cool.

So that’s what I’ve got to show for the WIP stuff, I’d probably start posting pics for this set in a couple of days or so. But now I want to tell you guys what I’ve decided about the Patreon benefits. I think 8k renders and early access are a reasonable addition to my page. 8k pics are kinda a compromise to my hesitation about downgrading stuff, so that all my public renders stay 4K. For tiers, I think I’m gonna do three, $1, $3, and $5. Tier 1 will just give access to animation and Image set WIP posts. Tier 2 will give 1-week early access and 8k Image renders + previous rewards. And tier 3 will give access to WIP models and Blend files + previous rewards.
