Here’s the animation all stitched together and sequenced. It’s a bit over 4 minutes long. Next, I’ve a bunch of detailing to do. Gotto do cloth physics, jiggle physics, hair physics, coom simulations, lighting, and face animation. I reckon the animation will soon be finished on a technical level, but rendering is gonna take like 9 days.

I also wanted to ask you guys your opinion on something. I am very burnt out on this whole Shepard x EDI thing. I know I said there was going to be a part 3, but I kinda don’t want to make that, because I’m so bored with it. I'd rather get back to new things, finish up my models, and make normal-length anims, instead of super long ones like this.

If you feel like you’re getting bored with the work it’s best to switch it up. I find a break from doing the same thing always helps getting back into flow and get creative.

If this long format isn't working for you, then I say stop and go back to what was working before. 😀 P.s i noticed at the begging we get to see human edi but then the rest of the animation is robo edi. i thought you where gonna use human edi a lot more, unless that was gonna happen in part 3?

I recommend you take a break after you finish this, then work on something new. I don't like seeing my favorite creators experiencing burnout but it happens.

I think you should focus on what you want to do and trying new things. Like everyone here, I don't want to see you get burned out and end up hating making these animations. If you want to take a break from this, I'm fully in support of that :)

I think you stumbled upon a really popular niche of animated NSFW, longer form NSFW content with dialogue is really popular, one of the reasons why Nyl and RadRoachHD are such big creators. I think it would really be a shame if you stopped now after coming so far. I definitely think you should take a break in-between this and whatever your next project is, you've clearly done a lot of work so my personal opinion is to finish this, taje a break, finish Part 3 and then firmly establish you're only going to be doing more of your traditional content. Regardless, do what's best for you, we all support you! But like I said, you've come this far! Might as well see it through to the end, and you'll make us gooners happy. Hope all is well, Rigid!

I'd suggest putting Part 3, if it ever comes back to you at somepoint, on the back burner. Focus on what you wish to do. Not what you don't, otherwise I don't see it being fun on your side of the spectrum. Either way, don't overdo it. And take a breather. Everyone needs to come up for air at somepoint and get a fresh breath of it.

Do as you please. You can come back after some time and be more inspired. But my personal sugestion is If you can make a reversed cowgirl for the final part exactly as you did in the rendered images, It will be awesome. Keep un the good work.

Nothing wrong with coming back to it later when you feel more inspired. The longer videos are great but definitely require more work, and i can see how it may lead to burnout. If you plan to do longer videos in the future just release them in small increments and do it at your own leisure. You can have a plan of what you want to do still, but just do it section by section instead. That way you can leave yourself open to do other projects in between to avoid burnout. When it's complete you can compile it into one longer video.

I don't think you should force yourself to finish it. It is better to end on a good note than to do something that will not turn out well in the end due to burnout.

One of my fave ones you did was triss a while ago, felt like it was a good way if using looping animations to build something that felt long otherwise

I would much rather you do stuff you're interested in. I love your work and have a profound interest in you not getting burnt out. If anything, you can always come back and make a part 3 a long time from now. Theres no need to push yourself like that if it feels too grating.

Personnally I think with your animations your probably taking on a little too much. It might be a good idea to simplify things. For example maybe have the animation at something like 2-3 minutes with an intro and outro. Plus 2 or 3 different angles and positions, maybe. I think it will be easier for you as far as technical things as well as rendering the final product.

I like long animations a lot, but yeah I would say I prefer some shorter animations but with same characters so 3 to 6 shorter animations can be connected to 1 big one!
