Jen won that poll for who-gets-a-comic by a landslide, so here it goooooes~

Crossposted from Discord, because I want to be up front about this. I sculpted the background elements (table, bottles, booth, and building) in Blender, took snapshots from certain angles and drew over them. I consider this cheating, but I mostly just draw characters, While I like challenging myself by making them occasionally, struggling with tedious details of background work brings very little joy, and since I'm no professional they never quite look right or matching the mind's eye... Getting better at 3D-modelling and making reusable elements for reference, however, makes it a win-win. Not sure how other people would feel about it, but the short of it is that I'd hate to pretend I'm *not* doing this, so... ;;\Ó^ò/

With that out of the way, Exposition Go™!

Pickle Surprise

Don't feel bad about the background thing at all, especially since you went out of your way to create the items you drew over still. It's not cheating to use posed items as framed reference. A couple artists I know also do the same thing. Really helps speed up production as well :) Looks good so far!
