High Priestess WIP 03 - Hair works, and some adjustment! (Patreon)

Here are some new screenshots of High Priestess hair!
Working on hair card is such a gruesome progress, but I'm glad I'm made it through, again. Still want to do more changes on her hair based on recent feedbacks by fellow artists tho.

At first I made her hair blonde just like the draft, but she look very... not unique I think? So I decided to play around with hair and eyes color until I found this combination: Platinum/Light Purple. Pretty happy with this, as this made her look a bit older and more mature plus a slighty crazed look of a high ranking priestess driven by maternal instinct (she had no children of her own tho).

My workflow for character hair is inspired by this article, very helpful and detailed and most importantly it show me to work on simple, low poly hair cards for more easy control of the shape. This use most of Maya tools but you can use the basic idea of this workflow for your program of choice just fine:
