idk man i enjoyed this live adaption compared to most others, easy 7/10 because of the missing plot lines and character manipulation, but wasnt bad, im just ready for them to get back to luffy vs katakuri this week 😂

I like the adaptation, it's a 8/10 to me if you see it as a 2nd more free adaptation of the One Piece manga. Good special effects, outfits, actors and all. Great job, man. The thing I didn't like the most was the fact that Luffy doesn't seem to be immune to blunt trauma. He was hurt everytime he got punched or thrown against a wall in this adaptation.

First, the way Garp did them kids back in the day can't be shown in live action, throwing his grandson off a mountain into some jungle wouldn't fly!! They'd be canceled right away in this sensitive climate!!

People saying oh its good for people haven't seen the anime are just cry babies get over it. the show was good the parts you guys are crying over weren't even that big of a deal I feel like alot of u who comment just want attention.

If they ever make it to Sabaody, they can just write it so that Hachi left the crew a bit before they ran into the Straw Hats since he realized they were going too far. Add some flashbacks of Nami seeing him as a kid, and that'll explain why she recognizes him. Still emphasizes that he was a better person than the rest and worked towards his redemption. They could do the same with Jango too tbh. His bounty was up, so he exists. They could just show him in the marines next season or something.
