That’s my favorite part of this show. The balance of power. Everything Luffy did in the beginning of the show brought consequences to himself and his crew. Now everything Luffy does next brings ramifications to the entire pirate world & underworld.

They can't cover this up by saying one of their boys brought in Doffy like how they gave credit to Smoker for Crocodile's arrest.

Fuji is a real one. He did not take down Doffy himself because he did not want the Smoker situation in Alabasta to repeat where the marines/government were crowned to be the saviours of the country. He wanted the world to know that this is the government's fault in the first place, didn't report to HQ about what was happening so the narrative wouldn't be twisted, and started broadcasting right away so there's no excuses the government can say.

Actually, weren't the transponders not working due to the birdcage? I think I remember that Doffy had cut all connection to the outside world. Only after the birdcage disappeared they were able to communicate outside Dressrosa...correct me if I am wrong...

I dont know bout when the bird cage was there but i doubt it would stop communication. But i was talking bout right after, Fuji told the marines "dont report anything yet".

Y'all made it! After punk hazard I'd say this is the only other arc with pacing issues, from here on it's only gonna get better!

not my favorite arc either but it does have imo as well one of luffys toughest fights w/katakuri, i think they’ll enjoy it for multipe other reasons too
