We were thinking about upgrading our Vimeo account to allow us to upload more full length reactions.  We'll continue to upload Yu Yu and Jojo throughout the week as normal, but we were thinking about uploading more full length reactions of some of the newer seasonal series on Patreon since it doesn't take much editing to get those up with our new full length format.  And if so, what newer series would y'all like to see? I know I've seen Fire Force and MHA mentioned numerous times.  The Vimeo upgrade is pretty pricey, so we wanted to check with y'all before we attempted to make a move. What do y'all think?

I don’t personally like it. It is pretty pricey tbh.

Anonymous

If the profit doesn't outweigh the price it aint worth it.

PKKite

I would watch a MHA dub reaction. But if yall need to charge a cetrain price for full length i would suggest to see if the profit as is is worth it then see how many would upgrade later.

Anonymous

Hmm don't know if its worth it or not. In my opinion I don't think you have to. I usually don't watch full length cause of the time anyway but its up to you

This is Fine

While that does sound nice if the cost is too pricey for you then no. It's good to know that you guys are able to make a profit for the hard work you put in. But if Vimeo will cut into it then leave the format as is imho.

Preet

One piece would be cool. I say lay off the vimeo though...what ya'll doin here so far is great to me : )

Heatah22reacts

Preciate the input y'all! Yeah, it is definitely pricey. It takes a good 400 to upgrade for the year, but we were looking at it like this. We could go from uploading 7 episodes a week to 12-13 episodes a week with the additional full length reactions. We would edit the videos for YT overtime, and we could get caught up on the newer shows and upload them on Patreon as they air. But that's why I'm glad we asked first. Preciate y'all keeping it real with us as always!

I wanna say yes?

Casval

More reactions is always good, you guys would like fire force.

Rudeus Greyrat

I mean you could always test it out for a few months if you want and catch up on re zero before the second season comes out in the spring season and catch up on my hero academia. I guess you could consider it as an investment Because it will help you be caught up on the re zero hype before it starts. Plus it will help you expand to other animes considering you are reacting to 2 long series atm that will take you like 3 months to finish both and then you can make a new poll and react to 2 different animes. Plus having reactions strictly to 10 dollar tier might entice more people to upgrade to 10 dollar tier

James Washington

I really like the full length reactions on vimeo. I would definitely say yes if it isn't too much of a hassle for you guys. As for shows I'm going to keep advocating for Haikyuu. Sports anime is so underrated. But of course shows like One piece, My hero, and re zero would be great as well.

Hypemaster

hah figured that would be the rebranded name

Heatah22reacts

Preciate the input g! I just don't want it to seem like we're holding reactions hostage behind the 10 dollar tier. We definitely plan on uploading them for everybody eventually. Given the circumstances, we could bring in some more traffic this way in the mean time.

Heatah22reacts

I can't wait to watch Haikyuu...That's one we'd probably let y'all vote on after we watch Jojo and Yu Yu. Thanks for the input bro!

The rebrand looking fly. I definitely think it would be a good way of taking your channel to the next level. It would help a lot more to serialise and organise your uploads. As for new shows I would go with whatever is in season. If you guys start reacting to big new shows of each season you'll end up riding the wave of traction on YouTube. People searching up those shows will end up finding your channel. The newcomers will also be more inclined to stay because you guys have or in the process of reacting to anime like HxH, Jojos, Yuyu. As for what shows specifically I'd say the new seasons of MHA, Demon Slayer, Black Clover (even tho these shows aren't my favourite) they would help the YouTube growth a lot.

ZaaZoJo

Yes please - I love the full vimeo reactions

Ahmed Ali

The full length show is only as good as its reactors. So it will be fine. Also would still like to see a live action mini series thrown into the mix. Sucker for shows like chernobyl.

Erik johnson

Just don’t burn yourself out with getting more reactions out. You guys are definitely my fav reactor. Also I think hajime no ippo would be a anime you guys would love. It’s about boxing.

Definitely up to you guys, I like to at least have 3 shows max to watch from you guys to have a bit of variety. Doing anymore may just become a bit too time consuming, however, if the editing doesn't take much out of ya, I am a sucker for more content.

1) You can always try out the upgrade, and rollback in a few months if it's not working out. Give it a shot. 2) Watch Samurai Champloo instead. My TTGL recommendation has been ignored for about a year now, so I'll switch to Samurai Champloo. Champloo would get you a better end-result than Fire Force (admittedly, MHA would get you a better result than both). I've been watching anime for about 20 years now; I know how the 'basic' watchers think and react.

Could you pay it monthly or something instead of a lump sum 400? Also please check out my other comments.

Heatah22reacts

You're not the only one to suggest Gurren Lagann broski. We're definitely tryin to watch that and champloo, but they haven't been voted in yet. We've had GL on the Polls, right? How many ep is GL?

Jakob

I'm really not trying to trash other people's shows but i do not like Fire Force. It had a great 1st episode but everything after is just ugh. Writing and directing are a mess. I really wanted to like it because i like the premise and i want to support the studio since they're also the ones animating Jojo. Maybe y'all will like it i don't know. I also heavily recommended Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. To answer your reply to the other dude its either 26-27 episodes. Can't remember because ep 16 is a recap

Rudeus Greyrat

Yeah fire force is pretty trash. I think most anime fans have small brains so they think ohhhh flashy animation = good show. I honestly don't remember why people like gurren lagann so much, but I haven't seen the show since back when I watched it in 2007. My top 3 list of shows for them to watch is code Geass, re zero, samurai champloo imo

Anonymous

^ Also I take back a bit of what I said earlier; Depending on how it goes, Champloo might go viral wayy more than the MHA views would. There's massive potential there. :)

Jakob

I ain't gonna bother explaining the appeal of Gurren Lagann because I'll end up writing 10 paragraphs, all I'll say it's my favorite out of the shit load of anime I've seen. Not saying it's the greatest of all time just that it's my favorite. I love re:zero but I honestly don't know how these two would feel about it

Of the newer shows, I'm a strong advocate for Haikyuu! Season 4 starts tomorrow, and it was recently released on Netflix to a wider audience. I think that will grow in momentum. It's a grounded sports shows about volleyball (which I never cared about). It is such a powerful show that brings out all the emotions you had when playing team sports... That and the cast of characters is so real and fresh. The nostalgia in me also is down for some Samurai Champloo, as another has said. You guys would love that soundtrack. Cheers fellas!

Anonymous

Side note - now that you guys are back doing the rap intros, I think it would be sweet if you made like Rap Review of Yu Yu Hakusho Season 1. Just stitch together the intros and form like an AMV type vid. That would be dope.

Anonymous

I agree, I think it would a good idea to have a slot for a seasonal show going forward, and fill the rest with shoes voted upon by users. They could have the best of both worlds.

ZaaZoJo

I just love the reactions, The editing is awesome however dont stress yourself out doing it. Im here for the RAW reactions even without editing.

HalfroSamurai

I think it's worth the price if it reduces the editing time and allows you to react to additional shows. MHA or Fire Force are probably good for viewing numbers as well. It also might be worth checking out new winter 2020 releases (something like haikyu)so you can ride that first reactor wave.

ChaosPudding

Don't worry, I'm in your camp bro, we'll get Gurren Lagann eventually.
