Early Access - Chapter Twenty Six (Patreon)

Hello.

Here's the next one for you to watch early if you want to.  There's a little weird bit right at the end of the Outro but I imagine most people will have clicked off the video before they get to that bit.  It was kinda funny when I listened back to it so I left it in.

So... lots of peeps speculating that Shadowlands might be delayed cos the pre-patch is being all elusive and stuff.  I dunno - On the one hand... I agree they shouldn't rush to release it if it's not ready.  But then I kinda wonder if it would ever be "ready" based on the way some of the WoW community reacts negatively to everything.  I just kinda find it weird that there are people in the community that think they know better than the actual devs.  And they're telling them like "Hey... Blizzard... you should delay it if it isn't ready".  

I kinda wish Blizzard would respond like "Yeah... we know how these things work.  We've been making games for 29 years".

I'm kinda glad i've avoided so much of the news and content out there about Shadowlands.  I'm going in fairly blind (although I did do some Alpha testing).  I mean... i recently looked into the Demon Hunter Covenant abilities and got a bit annoyed about that but... they've already changed one of those abilities for the better.  (The gap closing one that seemed completely pointless for a class that has Fel Rush.  Apparently that gives you a damage buff now.) 

I would love it if choosing a covenant was an actual difficult choice.  Because each offered a unique, brilliant thing.  But I understand that designing like... 48 different covenant abilities and making each and every one of them amazing is actually quite complicated.  I'm not even a person that bothers with min-max stuff.  But I draw the line at abilities that I just wouldn't use at all.   Like a sigil that I'm forced to stand in even though I'm a Demon Hunter that wants to be free and do flips for days.  Or spawning a demon that I then have to kill just so it drops a little blob on the ground that i'm then forced to stand in even though I'm a Demon Hunter that wants to be free and do flips for days.
