Zenitsu is a trash tier character. Stark is like that character done right, he has moments of comedic relief but he steps up when he needs to.

No Zenitsu is annoying 100% of the time and does “cool” things sometimes

Stark is a better written version of Zenitsu. Stark has to consciously make the decision to fight while Zenitsu only fights subconsciously. Zenitsu has an on and off switch when fighting making him either a complete coward or fearless savage which isn't realistic. Stark has to fight monsters while constantly trying to not let his fear consume him. Also Stark isn't even cowardly in every fight while Zenitsu is scared of the smoke no matter who he's fighting.
