It makes sense. Since as others have said Hibiki’s magic is basically a magic database. Which was established at the start of the arc where he was able to gather information and pictures of the Oracion Seis. And then shown constantly throughout the arc. So of course he found the answer. It’s a pretty natural conclusion.

Personally I don't find it convenient since, they need to hit each point at the exact same moment. Now maybe Hibiki's magic is convenient in being able to find out the info, but its still limited to non combat ability.
