Nahh Robby just lost, not because he was the weaker fighter or not a good fighter or champion material, it's because he wasn't focused because of Kenny and what happened to him. If that didn't happened, yeah he could of won but he also still could of lost. Robby went into that fight not focused, and Hawk did and Hawk won, just because Robby wasn't focused, doesn't mean the W should be any less of a W for Hawk, and imo Robby didn't really deserve that win. Which is is why come next tournament, all my money is going on Robby. Cause there's no way there ending the show without a tournament dub under his belt. In S1 tournament Robby loss cause he wasn't a 100% physically (yes, due to cheap shit and shit.) in S4 tournament he wasn't 100% mentally (because of the effect Cobra Kai has on Kenny and due to his inflictions on him because of Cobra Kai as well.) that's why come S6 Robby gonna be at his peak tho 💯

Robby simply just wasn't in the right state of mind to fight properly. This happens to fighters all the time, so I feel like the fight was still realistic. When you train for a fight, you train not just your body but your mind as well. Hawk just got his confidence back he was at 100% full strength when it came to body and mind. I don't think it was lazy writing.

Not speaking from a development standpoint here, just purely talking about the fight. Robby didn’t “let” Hawk win. They both had excuses for why either of them would have won or lost. I think this is still the most equal fight in the entire show (between the kids), even in S5.

Robby just saw how Cobra Kai was negatively affecting Kenny before his match so when he saw Kenny he got distracted and let his guard down. Deep inside he didn't want Cobra Kai to succeed in that moment if they were gonna be turning kids like Kenny into kids who let their anger gets the best of them.

I gotta say I love that Wellz doesn't give Johnny a pass for screwing Robby up, a lot of people just simply hate on Robby without understanding the emotional damage that has caused this boy to be this way and that his parents are to blame for that, and I love how Wellz points that out everytime. Also I loved how with both matches it wasn't a cut and dry win and loss, there were reasons behind who won and who lost and it was a great twist, but I did feel so bad for Tory because she was just saying why this win was so important to her and to realize that you only won because Silver cheated is heartbreaking. Overall this was probably my favorite season because I feel it took time to develop the characters and their stories and didn't focus so much on the fights and I loved that. Next season is probably my least favorite but it's still good and Danny's story is probably the best it's been all series long next season so enjoy guys.

Kreese is like an anti hero at this point. You can see him struggling with himself and attempting to avoid his past mistakes. Meanwhile, Terry has become the real supervillain. They even hit us with that theme just to make it extra villiany LOL

@Devin B If I had to take a guess it’s because the latest mob psycho reactions and even the latest one they have up didn’t even get 10k views, I don’t remember the exact video stream but they said something a while back that if a series doesn’t perform well, especially when it’s something new, that they’ll just watch it on their own time. It’s fucked but whaddya gonna do.

There's no functional difference between Robby losing because he was distracted by Kenny and Robby losing because he lost control of his anger. Neither of those scenarios would be Robby at 100%.

The reason Robby hesitated at the end when he saw Kenny ties into why he followed Johnny to the dojo at the end. Robby has a bunch of anger that he didn't know how to handle. He tried processing it through Miyagi Do - it blew up in his face. He tried to guide a young kid's anger through showing him Cobra Kai - it blew up in his face. Kenny would have been angry regardless of who he lost to (and he definitely would have lost to most of the characters remaining). Robcity is reading in an interpretation about "no mercy" because Kenny went flying, but Kenny is going to go flying regardless. He's like 90 lbs. Because Robby showed him how to process anger through Cobra Kai, Kenny then took it out on his former bully in the exact destructive ways Robby is trying to escape. If you notice, all his flashbacks during that scene were from him being bullied by Anthony, not from the match he had just lost, so it's clearly not because Robby didn't "show him mercy". Clearl, anger is not something that is so simple to process or something that is easy to reduce to a single source. That's why Robby said he's tired of blaming his dad. He's just tired of being angry.

Yea I actually disagreed with a lot of their takes on the season but I myself didn't really enjoy it either, just not for the same reasons they didn't. I do feel they were a little bit too negative about it but I would place it as my least favorite season, but Daniel had the best story next season then he has had ALL series so I did enjoy that, he had the best storyline to me in S5.

It’s not just no Bleach today, I don’t even think it’ll be tomorrow including no CSM, this weekend they didn’t even drop the latest MHA and blue lock episodes, they’re on Christmas break with their families. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see anything this whole week or at least not until just before New Years.

Don't get me wrong... I FREAKING LOVE ROBBY!!!... But... Robby actually DID lose fair n square. He lost to Migelle at the end of season 2 during the school fight... Then, of course, Migelle showed him mercy and Robby got pissed.... But officially, Robby lost.

Nah Johnny played a part. An absentee parent is just as damaging to a kids mental and emotional health as a parent who is a drug user. BOTH his parents played a part in the way Robby is Johnny doesn’t get a pass just cuz the mom was also terrible.
