Yo, it would be dope if you guys actually checked all 3 (og cartoon) Aladdin films. The King of Thieves (The one with Al's Dad, aka the 3rd one) actually goes hard AF... for a Disney kids movie lol. Lots of people like Aladdin 2, as well.

Mulan is not a princess... but she IS a Disney Princess. It's all toys and marketing, don't argue over that shit lol. She's the only "princess" that fights along side you in Kingdom Hearts, so She's already built different from the ground up 😆

Which... is why she's not a Princess. She never was in canon, and she'd never accept the role anyways. Mulan 2 was ALL about her coming to terms with marriage, but that never made her a princess. She's a Warrior-bride at the end of the day.

What's crazy about t his style of animation is that they don't let ANYTHING stay dead in a scene. Back then, they had years at a time to make a 90 minute movie, so even with hand drawn frames, they managed to put their foot into every production. They also animated to the English voice actors (unlike in anime, where it's animated to the Japanese VAs, like lipsync in a Video game) and thus you see OVER animation and over exaggeration of simple things, like talking. It's cool to see! I've been diving into animation more and catching more details as a result. I can just SEE the process of how this movie must have been drawn, and it's pretty impressive 👏 The fluidity they keep throughout all the GOOFY over the top animations they constantly throw at you throughout this film is extremely impressive, IMO.

Damn, now we are asking the real questions. I actually had to stop and listen to them again to answer this. I think it comes down to what you are basing it on. I think if you are going off hits, it’s definitely Tarzan without question. The songs are very upbeat, sound “big” and Phil Collins nails the vocals. Hit for hit it’s not close. Plus Phil Collins even does the main song in Spanish. However if you are basing it on a how it works with the movie. It’s El dorado. The soundtrack perfectly goes with movie to the point that as you listen to it, you can track exactly where in the movie it’s placed and can really imagine what’s going on again. It also does a great job of nailing the sound of the culture it’s trying to represent which really sets the scene for the movie.
