Near-Protagonist Experience - Death was on his way to collect another soul when he noticed that this one seemed to have an aura of Fate surrounding it. "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE, DEATH!!!" ~"Oh no, not another one..."~
Modern Engravings - Someone with a laser engraver decides to test if antient runes are real by engraving on copper plates over night. but bet every morning the copper is "untouched" or replaced with a new sheet. Is it the government, the Fey or just plane old carbon dioxide poisoning.
Game Based Society(Liar's Dice) - A short story taking place inside a game based world (like YuGiOh) where the game of choice is liars dice. Rules of Liar's Dice (or just watch this video [though I've never played with 1s being wild] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wl4QocM3xxo ): Everyone starts with five d6 dice and a dice cup. Each round players roll their dice, keeping the result hidden from the others. The first person begins the bid. Bids are comprised of a face and how many dice the bidder believes have rolled that face. After that, each player has two options, to make a higher bid or challenge the previous bid. Raising the bid requires the person to make a new bid with at least one part being higher than the previous bid. When someone chooses challenge, all dice are revealed. If the bid is valid, the bidder wins, otherwise the challengers wins. Whoever lost loses one of their dice and they start the bid for the next round. Once out of dice, a player eliminated and the person after them starts the next round. Winner is last player standing.
