a lot of iconic moments, i personally liked a lot, but the concept kind of didn't make sense to me, the girls barely reach their 20s and mentoring 17yo teens, it was completely for entertainment

But I think because in Korea, for example, most men going through military service at the time gets inspired a lot by watching or hanging pictures of GG idols they like in their locker to motivate them and help them get through. I think that is where they got the idea for this show. Yes, SNSD were too young to mentor these troubled teen boys and I think the PD knew it that's why they hired experts as well. I think the point of SNSd being there is to cheer them up and inspire them as it is already working for others. But not really mentor them.
