*adding to this while I watch. So every guy in the Law performance has debuted: -Yujin in ZB1 -Hanbin in EVNNE -Yedam in OnePact -Kamden in Ampers&One -Wang ZiHao as solo under the name LE’V As for why Park Hanbin didn’t debut in ZB1, that’s still a mystery. Because he got decent screen time, is incredibly good, and score very well during every stage but ultimately didn’t make it in. Ofcourse, I wouldn’t want to replace anyone in ZB1 but I am glad things still worked out for Park Handbin and he still got to debut alongside a bunch of fellow Boys Planet guys. Taerae’s part in the bridge of Man in Love went viral. The way he smiled that line. It really was like a Man in Love. And I agree with you. The teamwork in this team was great. They worked off each other well. Taerae understood the critique the mentors gave and worked on it. Mingyu is just a cool bro who doesn’t get discouraged easily and willing to learn. Dongyeol is a veteran idol who’s been active since 2015 (Up10tion) so he has the experience and was very patient with Woojin. Woojin is still young and wasn’t very confident so I think because he was around these guys he didn’t fall apart because they knew how to approach and work with him (they were gentle and encouraging rather than stern and harsh). God the argument during Rush Hour was ridiculous. Yes there was tension and communication issues, but they were also stressed out and sleep deprived so I think things just blew out of proportion, plus I’m sure MNET didn’t help editing it. Apparently Ma Jingxiang was hospitalized for some time during this round, hence why he was so worried about the time. And supposedly according to some audience claim, he was the one who taught Takuto the choreo? Anyways, this and Feel Special behind the scenes I still can’t watch without skipping through. Limousine is one of those performances you need to see the behind the scenes and they lyrics in order to fully Immerse in it. Yeah Krystian got a lot of hate after the first round because of how he was portrayed. Jihoo rapped about getting edited out the first 2 episodes because him and his teammate both got all star during the initial Evaluation but wasn’t shown. I’m glad the IU team members got to redeem themselves with this performance because all 3 had notable bad performances attached to their name. It wasn’t the most difficult song out there but they pulled it together and gave a great clean performance. I Chan totally deserved that win. He is an amazing singer. Butterfly was amazing, it was totally Chen KuanRui’s style given his traditional Chinese dance background. I’m pretty sure you did write him down very early on but he hasn’t really gotten much screen time until now. He was in Kill this love and is one of Zhang Hao close friends. Also, you missed it in the behind the scenes training where Lip J actually went up to the team and talked to Junseo telling him not to worry so much and that he’s not as bad as he thinks he is. yes this episode was when HaoBin ship SAILED. Regardless of what thier relationship is, I’m glad they both found someone they can lean on for support. There is behind the scenes extra clips on MNET YouTube where Hanbin admits to choosing Tomboy because Zhanghao was there. Anyways that’s all of my ranting for now. Thanks for watching this episode!

eva

remember when people thought park hanbin couldn't gain votes/ultimately get into the group because he and sung hanbin shared the same name... we really had to come up with anything to reason his lack of votes lol

eva

and still, no reason for the lack of votes because he is x10 deserving of even 1st place. i truly think that luck just wasn't on his side. but as you said, i too wouldn't want to replace anyone in zb1 and i hope hanbin is happy and thriving in evnne!

Secretninja312

I was so prepared for their stage names to be Shanbin and Phanbin. And I think it did ultimately come down to the fact that there was 2 Hanbins that Park Hanbin was unfortunately overshadowed.

Jiwoong actually has the least screentime in Boys Planet, despite a lot of people watching for him and him being one of the most popular trainees, in top 5 since the beginning. There are plenty of contestants who didn't debut and had more screentime than him. He was also the least seen in behind the scenes videos. He only getting some screentime as a part of someones story....in the last episode it was Matthew.

Ma JingXiang talked recently about how this Boys Planet stint really affected his mental health and he is still working on getting healthy to this day. MNET really did a disservice to a lot of the contestants but to him especially considering he was like the top pick even more popular than Hanbin before the show aired. They did everything to put him down and it worked I guess.

The whole rush hour thing was made worse by the language barrier bc the leader, Seongmin isn’t Chinese so Ricky and Ma Jing Xiang would have to exit her use their minimal Korean or translate the conversation which would take time. I think that’s why Xiang was so adamant that they kept practicing instead of talking.

Amal Abdi

I feel like the stress of being in the lower end of rankings and the fact I he hasn’t had a long training period, his stress is accumulating into this state that he is in. I understand completely how Ma jinxiang feels

Amal Abdi

For Rush Hour: SeongMin (Leader): he debuted again in Onepact Hiroto: gonna debut in an upcoming group, NXD Takuto: is in the J-pop group, TOZ Ma JingXiang hasn’t debuted yet and is taking time to focus on his mental health. BP was a hard time for him.

Amal Abdi

For Limousine: the members wrote thier parts about their hardships on the show. Jihoo wrote about how his audition he worked hard on never being shown and losing his best friend that he started this show with in the first elimination, largely due to the lack of screen time they got. Anthonny wrote about his struggles preforming in a language he isn’t fluent in. Krystian wrote about the hate he got after how he was edited in during back door mission, the lyrics were beautiful and I highly recommend checking out the English translation

Hao winning was not crazy at all, you're just watching the performances wrongly with already an idea of what it is and not supposed to be. ALSO the yt ones skip out on a lot of facial expressions that the audience gets to see (since they're there in person, and don't only see the edited out version.) For the trainees who win, just see their individual fancams, theres a reason why esp for Hao, they have THAT many views.

Lala

i really dont understand why you keep saying they "rigged" votes out of viewers. by now we know how these shows work and ill tell you park hanbin got waaaaayyyy more screen time compared to even hao, taerae, ricky and gunwook at least. he was even called "mnets pick" after sung hanbin. all of them are talented but not all of them can debut in the group. if they were able to "rigg" votes like that, there would be no way that he would not end up debuting. and also no way that hao would end up first and for ricky or gunwook or taerae to debut. also, maybe yujin didn't stand out to you but he choreographed a whole part.

Lala

this is exactly the episode when hao and taerae "blew up". people started noticing them more (exactly the moment i noticed hao and he became my one pick and bias so its not really that surprising that he got 1st place considering he did catch my eye xD). the woongki and zhang shuaibo thing... the trainees reaction, u need to watch the behind the scenes to understand that but woongki deserved soooo much more than what he got

Lala

the way he became my bias after this performance like thas crazy 😭

Lala

also u just mentioned that hao barely got any screen time... and then say that mnet wants him and the others to debut... so it doesnt add up....... the points are the live votes ^^ so they vote according to the live performance they see and its a different pov than it is for us cus they see all the members in all aspects.. thats why it might differ from what u see on tv. like someone said, the fancams show better! ^^

feli

its not really some big conspiracy that mnet rigs votes in whatever way they can… yeah we’ve known for years that is how these survival shows work. But you’re a little obsessed with the idea that everyone that made it into zb1 was mnets favorite and its just not the case… it was a battle and a half to get Taerae and Ricky in there at the end. Gunwook too if we’re being real. If mnet actually had their full way, Park Hanbin would have been up there. He got nothing but favorable edits the whole time.

feli

I’m also completely fine with Park Hanbin not being in ZB1. I liked him in the show, but he just wouldn’t have fit with these members. He’s doing well with EVNNE these days and he definitely fits that concept better.

Jamell N

All I'll say is there is a mountain of content for you to react to about the other groups that debuted after the show

Jamell N

Also the feel special drama only makes sense in context for the preparation for the stage so you missed why everyone's reactions were that way 😭

eva

taerae was already quite popular with kfans since ireumi mwoeyo but yeah now ifans started noticing him too!

Secretninja312

I feel like if MNET had their way, they totally would've had at least 2 or 3+ WakeOne trainees in the group.
