EU/UK Shipping Update (Patreon)

Hey folks!

As many of you know, changing laws in the EU and UK have meant that we’ve had to stop shipping to the EU and the UK from the Penny Arcade store temporarily. In the years since we’ve been forced to make this change, we’ve been searching out and testing options to keep us in compliance with these new laws while making sure our European fans can order our merch. To that end, we’ve got some exciting news!

We’ve identified a new shipping partner that we believe will allow us to open up the Penny Arcade store back to the EU and the UK, and we’re doing a trial run today! As part of this trial run, we want to let our Club PA members from the EU and UK in first, to thank you for your support and patience while we searched for a new solution.

Before we sign on and open it up to the wider public, we’re going to open EU and UK orders up to members of Club PA from now through July 11th. This will allow us to make sure that our fulfillment and customer service teams can have a smaller number of orders as we learn our systems, and allow them to ensure that everyone who makes an order gets the maximum attention and care while we work out any potential kinks in the system. With that in mind, we’ll be sending out a survey about the ordering experience, once everyone has had a chance to make their orders.

As part of this trial launch, EU and UK Club PA members will have exclusive access to Mystery Outerwear, Mystery Tees, and Mystery Pins on the PA store!

There will be few oddities and limitations, and we want to communicate them early. One is that the store will only display the price in US dollars, so please keep that, and the exchange rate, in mind when making orders. The second thing is that our licensed Nintendo merch will not be eligible for orders to the EU and UK, due to partner agreements, and neither will any digital download from the store.

We’re very excited to take one more step closer to opening up our store back to our fans in the UK and EU, and again, we thank you for your patience.
