You're not mistaken about the European vibes as the song was produced by LDN Noise - a group of dudes from London that made many of some of the most prominent and famous SM songs (some for other companies like JYP too). And it's not to say that all of their songs sound European but this one definitely draws inspiration from EU genres such as UK garage or Italo house, as it was alternatively described by some critics other than deep house. Another song by them that's of the same style and very similar sound is f(x)'s 4 Walls. Fun fact View was supposed to be f(x)'s song while 4 Walls was meant for SHINee but eventually they've been switched and ended up as the opposite.

Also, I believe on one of the YT videos you said that some SHINee songs sound like they could be done by EXO and vice-versa. Well, Lucky One by EXO was originally meant to be a SHINee song, and it definitely has a sound that many would associate with SHINee. I personally think Love Me Right also sounds very SHINee-esque or could easily be theirs. Although, SHINee can literally do anything as they've proven time and time again, it's just that some of the genres and sounds they've explored more than others - R&B (especially in their earlier days) and funk to name a few prominent ones. But their catalogue is so diverse you can find from hip-hop to jazz and from EDM to rock and even some metal versions of their songs, such as Amigo. The sound of their Japanese discography is also distinctive and quite vastly differs from the Korean one (mind you the Japanese discography is nearly as big as Korean). I'd recommend checking some songs out of it too, at least on Patreon because Japanese MV's often have troubles with copyrights on YT, tho strangely b-sides usually seem fine idk how it works lol.
