Yeah, skinship is definitely done up sometimes for fans in kpop (they call it fanservice). But, as far as I know, skinship is a little more lax even between same genders in places like Korea. So, some people are comfortable like that with their friends. Ateez say that they're very close and a few of them (Wooyoung and San mostly) love skinship, so you'll often see them initiating it (especially with each other). And the ones who don't like it (like Hongjoong and Jongho) won't be seen doing it often. Nowadays, forced skinship isn't as common. Enhypen are famous for refusing that kind of stuff. LOL

I genuinely can't wait for you guys to watch episode 4 of wanteez!!! It's one of my favourites from the whole series
