Two heroes and good friends sparring I drew on commission recently!

Characters: Lucille Head-Crusher, Goliath Fighter; and Rowena Blackwood, Tiefling Witch

Lucille Head-Crusher was born to a goliath clan and raised to believe that the strong would survive, and the weak would simply die: a creed that she follows to this day. Lucille has always been known to speak directly and to avoid meandering - if Lucille has to tell you something, she will tell you.

With her trusty maul by her side, Lucille entered the mists of Ravenloft from the town of Daggerford, and managed to make quite the name for herself in the process. She found herself befriending the Martikovs, the local brewers, (though this relationship soon became strained when she bluntly told the patriarch of the family that his daughter and grandson were probably dead) and soon met the group that would become her travelling companions - Onyx, Vadron, and Barakas the Boozer. Sadly, Barakas perished shortly after, to be replaced by Hajime Hisoka.

Together, they have travelled throughout Barovia, causing chaos and insanity wherever they go. Lucille - gloriously clad in the armor of Strahd von Zarovich himself, has become known as the 'Indestructible Head-Crusher', a title many would see challenged, if they were not so absolutely terrified of the seven-feet-tall goliath.

Though Lucille is unable to read, she can read combat expertly, and has been known to have a few battlemaster tricks up her sleeve to make crushing heads more satisfying.

During the Festival of the Blazing Sun in Vallaki, after wooing the crowd with her stirring performance on her war horn, Lucille saved some of the Wachter children by infamously running onto the stage and crushing the burgomaster Vargas Vallakovich's head in one magnificent swing with her maul. To this day, people look at her with admiration, gratitude, and unbridled terror.

Her blunt 'survival of the fittest' attitude, as well as her monstrous strength, has caught the attention and curiosity of many in Barovia, most notably Strahd von Zarovich himself - who will be hosting Lucille and her friends at Castle Ravenloft for dinner soon.

When not crushing heads, Lucille enjoys cooking for her friends with whatever she finds on the floor, a practice everyone has accepted as they are too afraid to tell her otherwise.

Rowena Blackwood was born into a wealthy coven of tiefling witches known as the Blackwoods. They prayed to the Goddess of Eternal Youth, who would keep them looking young for their entire lives. Together, they lived a life of lechery and indulgence, using their black magic to drain helpless souls of their youth, but Rowena eventually became bored with this and left, hoping to find her own adventures.

She arrived on the Sword Coast at Neverwinter port, and began using her witch background to train familiars for would-be explorers, eventually training the wolf who would become her familiar, Balto. They left Neverwinter, and found themselves in Phandalin, where they met their travelling companions Caine Scorchbeard and Varius Riverstone. After journeying through Phandalin and aiding the locals, they made their way to a town called Leilon, where the people were beginning to rebuild after a century of trouble. Rowena made her home in Leilon, with the locals building the Scorched Riverwood tower in her honor, where she lives to this day.

While in Leilon, Rowena faced off against both Talos - The Stormlord, and Myrkul - The Lord of Bones. Though she lost many friends in the battles, she was instrumental in the battle of Leilon, where they fought off the ancient dragon Ebondeath in the body of Old Gnawbone, and when the ship she was on was destroyed by the Stormlord himself, Old Gnawbone returned to pay her debt - saving Rowena and her companions from certain death. She also addressed Lord Protector Dagult Neverember of Neverwinter on behalf of the people of Leilon, begging him for aid in the battle.

Rowena now spends her time in Leilon, enjoying the freedom she fought so hard for, and has taken an extended break from adventuring. When she feels the time is right, Rowena will return to her homeland of Illuria, and seek out the ingredients to the mythical potion of eternal youth and take her place at the seat of power with her family, the Blackwoods.

What do you think? :)

I can answer that, poor helpless vasili needed someone to retrieve it for them and return it to him, so he could return it to strahd. The goliath decided to keep it and strahd likes the idea of it😁
