Characters: Princess Orokiya, Daughter of the Crescent, Elf Celestial Soul Sorceress; and Lord Ricardo de Valderossa Half-Demon Enchanter

Princess Orokiya of Timinhur is a true prodigy, having mastered both celestial and arcane magic from a young age. Considered to be the hope of the elven nation of Timinhur during an ambitious transition, her people and her betrothed, Prince Amontut VI, were shocked to hear news of her death by the royal diviners of Timinhur.

In fact, Princess Orokiya faked her death to escape the Selenean Idea, an ambitious scheme that changed Timinhur from a beautiful city into a sterile and oppressive regime, and transformed most of its people from moon elves to spellforged constructs, able to survive on the barren moon of Naam.

Born out of a dark pact between an ambitious noblewoman and an arch demon, Lord Ricardo de Valderossa is a powerful wizard who has mastered enchantment magic. Defiant and rebellious, Ricardo rejected his demonic heritage and joined the Aeonian Magisters, a secretive conclave of spellcasters who use an ancient relic to hide from divination magic and the prying eyes of gods and demons alike.

After counterspelling one of Ricardo’s enchantment spells at a grand ball, Orokiya found a lot of common ground and became close friends with Ricardo. She later saved him from captivity when his true nature was revealed after he seduced the princess of Montbonnet. Ricardo repaid her favor by helping her fake her death and introducing her to the Aeonian Magisters.

In the years of her isolation with the Aeonian Magisters, Orokiya got to know Ricardo better, and a complex and unusual dynamic between them emerged. Yes, they are lovers, but they are probably a lot more as well…

Orokiya and Ricardo are characters from the D&D campaigns I play in the Theomachy setting! What do you think? :)
