Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Midwinter Solsticekeeper's Cloak  — This vibrant red cloak is lined with white fur, with interior pockets to an extradimensional space. While wearing the cloak you gain various benefits, such as: a climbing speed, being able to squeeze into smaller spaces, learning of a creatures alignment, and creating a trinket-sized, nonmagical item as a gift.

2)  Tiny Helper Slippers  — Green slippers with bells on them that give you proficiency in wood worker's and tinker's tools, but disadvantage on stealth checks. They also reduce your size to small if you are medium or larger.

3)  Scuffle Scarf  — A long, patchwork scarf interwoven with enchanted thread. While wearing it, you have increased tolerance for low temperatures. You can also send the scarf to restrain a creature near you.

4)  Stupendous Ice Skates  — These magical boots allow you to move across water and snow as if it were solid ground, and you ignore difficult terrain cause by ice and snow. Additionally, if you move in a straight line across those surfaces, you can take the Dash action as a bonus action.

5)  Lexicon of Ice  — A thick book that is bound in white leather and freezing cold to the touch. The book contains a number of spells which are considered wizard spells for you. In addition, it can function as a spellbook and spellcasting focus. You can expend the books charges when you cast a spell to change the damage to cold or protect yourself with a layer of frost.

6)  Hearthfire Mantle  — The inside of this heavy leather mantle is decorated with a roaring fireplace. You gain additional protection against cold temperatures and know the produce flame cantrip. Friendly creatures within an aura of you have advantage against being frightened. You can channel the warmth to create a healing and damaging area; creatures of your choice either gain healing or take fire damage.

7)  Arcane Vellum  — A roll of magical vellum used to wrap small objects, which can also be written on to display a short message. Once wrapped, you can speak a creatures name to have the vellum and object fold into a tiny envelope and teleport to the recipient as long as they are on the same plane.
