Weapon (light hammer), uncommon (requires attunement)

This dark silver hammer is miraculously light. It has the finesse property, and any target hit with it takes an extra 1d4 psychic damage. Hitting a target with the hammer produces no sound.

Curse. This weapon is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. As long as you remain cursed, you are unwilling to part with the hammer, keeping it within reach at all times. You also have disadvantage on attack rolls with weapons other than this one, unless no foe is within 60 feet of you that you can see or hear.

When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points using this weapon, make a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, your mind is plagued with mysterious whispers; you take 2d6 psychic damage and are incapacitated until the end of your next turn.

"Look at them, just lying on the ground. That could be you, you know...could be. It could be—maybe it should be you...it should be you....

Dyanosis

This seems like you'd have to be running a pretty "interesting" campaign to use a weapon like this. Very severe curse for an uncommon. But eh, to each their own. All of your items are always so interesting! Especially the flavor text.

Sword Brother Ulbrecht

Feels abit severe considering a weapon like the lightbringer exists with a +1, and 1d6 radiant against undead with no curse

Lightbringer is *very* good for the rarity it's at -- it's a bit of an outlier. Uncommons are typically much more conservative with power (consider the "sword of vengeance" or "weapon of warding" for other uncommons in this range, with the sword also being cursed). The curse on this guy is certainly challenging, but curses aren't included in determining rarity.

It's pretty much in line with the "sword of vengeance" (same rarity and attunement)! It's also worth considering that rarities aren't included when determining rarity. You could easily run this with or without the curse, as you desire! Just use the Hidden Curse card options. :)
