Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1)  Siderial Implants  — This bracer glows with otherworldly power and becomes a pair of bracers and greaves when you attune. When you finish a short or long rest you can choose between two forms, each granting various benefits such as: increasing AC, making a special melee attack, and giving you a fly speed.

2)  Baton of the Blood Waltz  — A wand of bone and ruby that grants a bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your warlock spells. As a bonus action, you can force a creature cursed by one of your warlock spells to succeed on a Strength save or use its reaction to move up to 30 feet in any direction of your choice. Undead, constructs, or plants are unaffected.

3)  Jötun Skeggøx  — A powerful greataxe made by frost giants. It deals extra cold damage to any target hit by it, and you can cast the enlarge/reduce spell on yourself (enlarge only). When you do, your bonus damage die from the spell increases to a d6.

4)  Deck of Dragons  — A deck of playing cards styled after dragons. You can attack with cards drawn from a shuffled deck to deal damage based on the type of dragon depicted on the card.

5)  Navis Anima  — A pedestal with a cloudy gemstone with a sunset hue. You can perform a ceremony to bind the pedestal to a vehicle. The anima is sentient and can control the vehicle, move the vehicle slowly without a source of movement, and communicate telepathically with creatures in contact with the vehicle.

6)  Covolt Star  — This covolt spiked morningstar spark with electricity. It deals additional lightning damage on a hit. Once a day, you can also cause it to explode with electrical energy in a 20-foot radius, forcing creatures to succeed on a Dexterity saving throw, or take 6d6 lightning damage.

7)  Ramp-Up Ring  — This yellow ring is streaked with black swirls and gains 1 charge when you hit a creature with an attack the first time on a turn or when a creature misses you with an attack. Depending on the number of charges you gain benefits such as increased speed and a bonus to AC. The ring loses all charges at dawn.
