Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the 6 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Redeamer's Regards — A holy bow to be wielded by paladins, allowing you to use your melee-weapon abilities and spells, such as your smite spells and Divine Smite ability, at range.

2) Chronofragmental Talisman — A clockwork talisman that grants you the benefits of the Keen Mind feat. You can use it to describe 2 turns, instead of 1, when you take a turn. After the GM resolves both turns, you choose which one you take. Usable once every X days.

3) Starmetal Shard — A collection of pieces of starmetal that share a magical bond between them. You can recombine the shards to form different weapons, such as a pike, spear, shortsword, or dagger, or leave shards in a creature to deal bonus damage.

4) Gauntlet of Eldritch Ferocity — An aberrant stone gauntlet that allows you to fire an additional beam of energy whenever you cast the eldritch blast spell. When you do, roll a d20. On a 1, you take necrotic damage that can reduce your hit point maximum.

5) Sylren's (Apprentice's) Breastplate — A breastplate that release random effects when you speak its command word as a reaction when you're hit by an attack, such as releasing spikes around you, growing a layer of goo, or shocking your attacker.

6) Coral Hammer — A warhammer made of sharp coral. It deals piercing damage on a hit, and when you roll a 20 with it, adds 2 damage dice instead of 1 to the total of the damage. Once it does, it can't do so again until the next dawn or until submerged in water.

7) Instant Bunker Banner — A flag with 12 charges that, once planted, can be used to cast the tiny hut spell from it that remains for a number of hours equal to the charges used to cast it. It can send out a beam of energy at a creature when you use an action to expend another charge while inside the hut.
