Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Ideas

1) Smog Engine — A mechanical backpack-like device that spews smog in the spaces you move through, with increasing risks of backfiring the longer it runs.

2) Moltenrazor — A scimitar forged from molten rock that can deal additional fire damage and burn nearby creatures when they hit you or by expending some of its charges.

3) Starmetal Sword — a small blade that orbits you, allowing you to strike with it at range without using your hands. You can cause it to split apart like a star, dealing fire and radiant damage once a day.

4) Moonlight Shield — An uncommon shield with a +1 bonus that can emit light, changing the moon's design/phase on its face relative to the amount of light that it sheds. You can use it to cast the moonbeam spell once a day.

5) Arcanist's Scribing Nib — A magical wand that doubles as a pen and can cast the illusory script spell at will. You can use it to write spells in a spellbook, halving the cost required to copy spells into it. You can cast the comprehend languages and skywrite spell once with it each day.

6) Static Greaves — A set of magical boots that crackle with energy. When you move at least X feet straight toward a creature and hit it with a melee attack, that creature takes extra lightning damage.

7) Blast Javelin — An explosive javelin that lodges itself into whatever it hits. At the start of your next turn after throwing it, the javelin explodes into a fireball centered on its location.
