Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a weeklong cooldown.

Here are the 7 randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Veiled Guilt — A frightening tower shield made from a coffin lid that can magically cause nearby creatures to run from you and take psychic damage.

2) Fight or Flight — A shortsword made from two halves, one of glass, and one of obsidian, that can either cause you to enter a rage or teleport away from harm with a flip of coin when you take damage.

3) Pocket Therapist — A magical card that teleports you to a soothing, extradimensional space for 1 hour, during which time you're under the effects of the calm emotions spell. At the end of the hour, you can make a relevant saving throw against a mental condition afflicting you with advantage, with special effects occurring on a natural 20.

4) Heart Dust — A fanciful bag of dust that allows you to convey an emotion to anyone who touches the dust. Applying the dust to an area records your emotion, and for the duration, anyone that touches it feels the same way you did when it was recorded.

5) Tome of the Gluttonous Mind — A cursed spellbook that allows you to instantly record certain spells you witness being cast by hostile creatures, as well as granting you bonuses based on the kinds of other literature you record with it. 

6) Ao Hai's Fang — A legendary pearl and jade longsword from a long-sunken kingdom at the bottom of the sea made for a monk. You can spend ki points to enter a magical, dragon-like rage, granting you various offensive and defensive abilities.

7) Crimson Cinnamon Sugarbomb — A special, enchanted candy that causes you to enter a tantrum-like rage, during which you gain bonuses to strength checks, movement, and the number of attacks you can make.
