Let's make something to do with Merfolk and Merrow! Thanks for the suggestions this week! What a tight race! Maybe next week we'll just do different kind of Mummy ideas?

These are loose item ideas using on the suggestions from yesterday's direction poll. Some of these have had their ideas adjusted or combined with other like-minded suggestions. The final product may or may not use the original wording, so these are the core of the items' functionality and flavor.

Ideas

Jiaoren Necklace — An enchanted necklace for humanoids that allows you to transform your legs into that of a merfolk, granting you a swimming speed and the ability to breathe underwater and withstand deep ocean pressures. While wearing it, water runs right off you, and you can't become wet.

Flood Pauldron — A conch-shaped shoulder guard that creates a watery cape behind it. You gain a swim speed while wearing the pauldron and can breathe underwater. In addition, you can cast off the watery cape to surround yourself in a 10' sphere of water that follows you, allowing you to swim over deadly obstacles like spikes or other traps, instead of walking or jumping over them.

Tether Harpoon — A classic merrow pike that can latch onto targets it hits. It has a short throwing range that doubles underwater, and can pull creatures hit by it closer to you using a bonus action.
