We all want the same things: to be treated with respect, to be seen for who we are, to be heard and taken seriously, and to live a life worth living. The world needs togetherness and understanding, and the fact that racism and police brutality are a thing in 2020 is bullshit. It's culturally ingrained, and it's repulsive.

Yes, you should protest: if not to protect your own rights, do it for those that have had theirs violated. Yes, you should be angry. No, you shouldn't loot stores or burn down buildings. That said, you can tear down some Confederate monuments. History or not, immortalizing racism only perpetuates and normalizes it.

Keep on adventuring, stay safe, and stand up for a better future for humanity.
