Imprisoned by the earthen genies and forced to serve in their unending mines, Elgar the Stonemason grew miserable. As the first horrible days grew into torturous months and unyielding years, he began to believe himself truly alone. However, in that darkest of moments, he began to truly realize where he was: the heart of Elemental Earth. So, he began to carve. In every moment he could escape from the drudgery of the mines he shaped and crafted, creating form from the stolid stone around him. And, in his hiding place, surrounded by each lovingly-crafted figure, he finally felt some solace.
