Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Totem of the Squared Circle — A totem revered by those who prefer hand to hand combat. Planting the totem into the ground causes an arena made of electrified chains to form around it, trapping all inside for a limited amount of time.

2) The Assassin's Marker — A dagger used by assassins to would and weaken their quarry from afar. Hitting a creature with this thrown dagger causes them to become marked, allowng you to track and teleport to their side for an empowered sneak attack.

3) Xorn Maw Collar — A necklace that harnesses the xorn's urge to consume gems and precious metals. You gain bonuses to checks related to geology and proficiency with jeweler's tools and can be combined with a xorn eye coin for bonuses such as burrowing speed, tremorsense, and the ability to summon a xorn once a week.

4) Amulet of Hallowed Archetypes — A heavy locket that is empty when found. Attuning to it involves placing an item inside that represents your oath or deity and grants you various benefits such as: increasing your spellcasting stat, an additional Channel Divinity use, and a bonus to Intimidation, Persuasion, and Insight checks.

5) Heart of a Union — This steel heart mounted on a gold handle can be separated into two half-heart sickles. You gain a bonus to attack and damage and expend charges cast spells such as cure wounds and revivify.

6) Want of Lightning Bolts — A wand that functions like a wand of lightning bolts but can instead cast other lightning spells at random.

7) Wand of Stabbing — This seemingly mundane but highly polished dagger is magical and can be used as a spellcasting focus.
