Nah Sasuke shouldn't even be in this class lmao. He's out here moving! We're high key moving it feels like, I didn't know we'd meet new characters so early! I didn't realize Naruto pulled a Luffy too with the whole stabbing themselves, it's so crazy but if we're starting like this!!

You’ll find a lot of shonen anime that came out after naruto almost always have a “sasuke” like character lol. He was the blueprint :)) and he almost wasnt even going to be in the show!! The mangaka kishimoto hadnt included him as a character but the publisher thought that the story needed something more, and suggested including a rival for naruto, which is how sasuke came to be. And with time sasuke actually became kishimoto’s favorite character to write and draw.

You have a good point about the land of waves. They dont have a hidden ninja village so you’d think they are open to attack from other nations. But the land of waves is close to the hidden leaf village (i.e konoha where naruto and the rest are from) which belongs to the land of fire, so the land of waves relies on them for strength. They commission missions the way tazuna did, to have ninja from konoha fight for them. So as long as they have money, they basically have a sort of give and take alliance with the land of fire lol
