Hello!

We're just one week away from the release of Epithet Erased: Prison of Plastic. To remind people that this is a thing that exists and also a thing I've been working on for 18 months, I'll be doing two launch streams!

Both of these will be on my main JelloApocalypse YouTube channel, not the new one for game streams, and they will feature many members of the cast and crew.

The first stream will be this SATURDAY THE 3RD starting some time around 2-3pm PST. The starting time for this one is a little bit up in the air because Majin (Sylvie's VA) is coming over to record something using my booth in the morning and I only have one microphone set up. We might be able to reschedule though, so keep an eye on our channel!

The second, bigger stream will be on LAUNCH DAY, FRIDAY THE 9TH. I don't have an exact list of guests yet, but it's going to be a LOT of people. Most people I've asked said they can show up at least for a bit on Friday. The Friday stream will be going literally all day starting from 12pm PST. I'll be spending a lot of time in that stream passing out keys to the Kickstarter backers.

So! Here is my question to you: What do you want us to do in these streams?

Our exact options will depend on who is available, but we were thinking we could:

  • Host Q&As with the Cast and Crew
  • Have Bo and I draw things based on chat suggestions
  • Open up a fan art discord where people can submit their fanart and we can get the cast to react to it on stream
  • Show of specific moments of the book (no big spoilers!)
  • Talk about future Epithet projects
  • Show of WIP content from the TTRPG book
  • Set up some kind of game to play
  • Easy prompt questions like would you rathers (kinda like that Trolley Problem stream that Lenti, Aloha and I did a few weeks ago)
  • ...and more!

I have a little bit of free time the coming week to set things up, so I have a very tiny amount of time to prep in advance. The promotional stream on the 3rd will probably just be a few hours like 3-5, but the Launch Stream on the 9th will be going all day so any and all suggestions to fill the time would be appreciated!

Thanks for your suggestions, and we hope to see you there!

I would love to hear about how the TTRPG thing is going as I’m I huge fan of that genre in general. Since the concept was funded on the kickstarter I have been writing down different epithet idea on my phone and I have around 25-30 now!

I would personally love to hear more about the TTRPG and about some of the upcoming Epithet Erased projects. I'm actually in the early stages of planning an Epithet inspired campaign with my friend group right now, so I'm always looking out for more information about the official rules system and some previews into the progress may help me get inspired!

Playing a game together would be pretty fun. Maybe something nice and chill like a Jackbox game or Mario party?

While all of these suggestions sound really cool, the ones I'm most drawn to are hearing about future epithet projects and content from the TTRPG book (LOVE getting new bits and pieces of lore. Probably not this time, but it might be fun to stream some sort of one-shot when the TTRPG book gets released. It'd be a good chance to show off that villain squad you've talked about before!). I also think it would be really neat if you showed off some of the concept art for the book as well, or drew your favorite parts of the book that weren't fully illustrated. Maybe even a holiday-themed spiritual successor to TWO-loween? I saw someone suggest playing Jackbox games as well, which could be fun to watch. So could answer prompt questions, but I'm not really sure what that would look like since you already did the trolley problem, but it would definitely be more chaotic with more people. I'm now realizing I'm pretty much imagining this is gonna be something like the 1 Year Anniversary Stream (Which was actually the first stream I caught live! I was there for the whole thing, which was 12 HOURS. I was dYING by the end :D!)

I’m most excited by the Q&A, the drawin things and the fan art bits, they sound like they’ll be real fun! Playing a game would be super fun too especially for the all day one, maybe a board or tv game that can be stretched out.

I wanna hear the deep lore of the Epithet Erased universe.

I absolutely LOVE the first three existing suggestions! I’d suggest maybe break it into chunks of time since you’re going all day? Start with Q&A for an hour or two, go into doodle requests, look through fanart live, then play games, etc. If you ever get 4 or more of the actors in a room at once, try playing some Jackbox or would-you-rathers in character. It’s a REALLY fun experience and leads to some good community in-jokes.

Games. I do love games. Please play some games. Also, I already said this in the last post, but I think you guys should do some arts and crafts. Just a segment where you make low effort arts-and-crafts based on the characters. Some hair marshmallows for Molly, a bat with knives taped on for Giovanni, that kind of thing

All those things sound good, maybe you could play some jackbox games with chat.
