What kind of brush did you use for the shading? It looks new but at the same time familiar to me. It's not like those brushes that have one side with a gradient going into transparency and it's not a simple hard brush. Is this a brush you made custom?

These paint brush has a built in blend mode, so whenever I make a stroke over a color, it blends it depending on the pressure of my pen. I just used a pink color on a separate layer for the form shading, and purple for the shadows.
