From the way I see it, we either wait, and we get a LOT of nice info on how this boogie is going to move, and can base the next decision off that Or it blinks to use in a second and we know we should have pressed it, and move on from there with the life lost. But I feel at the very least with the distance between use it will at LEAST take one 'image' to get to use, so might as well see what it does.
