Approach it. Things to consider: 1) we should be able to outspeed it just enough to hit the button in time 2) these things can detect/respond to vibrations, so yelling might attract the ones from the previous room as well.

Well, the monitor says no boogies in the loop. But I do wonder what is behind that Pillar section...

Yet our ally said she locked THEM in. Those two are a null factor, and Cass has been outraced by Boobies before; need I remind the Bad End in the previous room when we thought she was faster? The monitor does say the loop is clear, however. So I'm voting we bait the lil shit.

Hmm... Anyone else suspecting the lines in the floor and ceiling, plus the pipes from the button to the floor, mean the button will create an electrical wall the Booby can slam face first into and get fried? It really would be bad if Cass had her exposed tail caught running from the Booby, if that's what it does.

Those near the floor, just beneath the button. Call for the Boogie there, and we have a problem with what might be in there by our feet. They're small enough to get around. With the loop clear, we don't have to worry about being sandwiched from either side. So, approach until it gives chase, which, given how well these things are good at detecting us, shouldn't be too far from the button itself.

Sorry, but why does the home boogie base even HAVE all these zap the boogie buttons? Anyway... as others have noted, it seems like pressing the button will create an electric screen or fence, which if timed properly will zap the boogie. Turn it on too early, the boogie will just go around (the monitor does not note any extra boogies), and we may just be stuck if the field doesn't go down quickly. So for the field to ultimately work in our favor, the boogie needs to be right on top of it. Even if the boogie takes the long way before we can press the button, that still gives us time to beeline for the door while it can't see us. So! From my point of view, we almost HAVE to make the boogie chase us so that it tries to reach out its goop across the screen, thereby trapping it exactly where the screen can electrocute it. ...but seriously, who keeps zapping the boogies?

Hmm, feels like timing is everything here. If we are too fast, the boogie will just loop around the fence when we activate it and then WE’LL be the one who is traped! If we are too slow, it’s just going to get us regardless. I’m not so sure what to do here to tell you the truth. I’m open to suggetions.

I'm on holiday rn so I can't say much, just gonna put my thoughts on paper: Approaching seems foolhardy since they ARE faster than us, and the button had a two second delay, so we might get covered, reach the button, push it...and then back away before getting electrocuted in the time it takes for the boobie to start influencing our mind. Staying by the button, waiting for the boobie to approach then hitting it before it reaches us might be the best bet. Hoooooowever. That loop worries me. It might go around and get us from behind. Furthermore the door behind us unlocking does seem to be a concern. I'm not sure what's best, I'll personally vote B because it just seems smarter and I haven't time to figure out much else. Least we got another life! Here's to hoping it works out

Honestly? I feel like both options could work and both options could fail. I feel like it all comes down to how quick the boogie’s reaction time is. I'm kinda stumped.
