My fave movie 2

Love the video. I really do agree more with your amendment to the end than the "original" conclusions. When it comes to gratitude: Gratefulness is something I have a real hard time feeling for people to whom I function more as a resource than a human being. If I go to a private healthcare clinic that makes money from me this happens, whereas if I go to a publicly funded clinic where I'm more of a detriment than anything I actually feel gratitude. So, for me I guess Prager would argue that communally owned capital is the way to go? ...although I guess he'd argue I just haven't attained Good Values (tm) yet.

Yea, I was thinking about saying something like that. The problem is, gratitude is a moving target in a way something like happiness isn’t. If you wanna make ppl happy, it seems like you’d wanna do a few things. Allow ppl to achieve the things they want to, don’t make them fear for their lives, etc. but with gratitude, who’s to say which things will produce gratitude, an emotion you experience when you’re happy with and thankful for the things and relationships you have. How do you create policy that encourages those feelings? and more to the point, should we encourage that feeling in people who DON’T have enough?

This was great. I'm sometimes not a fan of the "being in your own video" thing, but I think for your kind of content, and this topic specifically, it really worked. Plus, if it cuts down on editing time too, even better. You consistently find subjects that I've never even thought about and coalesce them into something incredibly interesting. It's a real talent, and I hope you continue for a long time.

This is one of my favorites you've made. Excellent job, keep up the good work. Also, I'm glad to hear that you were sincere when you said Eternal Sunshine was your favorite movie in that joke video. It's my favorite too! I hope you do a video on it someday.

Really great video. I like the whole reassessment angle.
